Without the support of our members we couldn’t carry on with the vital conservation work that we do. This is the first of two walks especially designed for RSPB members. 9 Wintering birds of the Fleet - Meet at Fleet old church at 1:30pm for a walk around Butter Street Cove and beyond. A fantastic opportunity to get free expert advice and try out a wide range of binoculars and telescopes. 15 Fleet Foreshore Spring Clean - Come and help us clear up all the litter carried up the Fleet by winter storms. Local postcard collector Andy Hutchings will talk about and display some of his collection of Weymouth postcards. 17-30 Matchstick Fleet – Nothe Fort, Weymouth. A remarkable exhibition of hundreds of post 1945 warships made entirely from matchsticks and matchboxes. The models all to scale, are the lifetime work of one man – Philip Warren, who will be present for most of the time. 21-24 Easter Continental Market – Weymouth Pavilion Forecourt. 21-24 Easter Hockey Festival – Weymouth Sports Club 21-24 Easter Squash Festival – Weymouth Squash and Fitness Club 21-24 Easter Eggstravaganza - Brewers Quay. 30 June to 7 July 2007, the 2007 Dragon South Coast Championship and Edinburgh Cup will be hosted for the first time by the Yacht Clubs of Weymouth in association with the Solent Dragon Fleet.
